We pride ourselves
in the high quality of our feline medicine. We follow the American
Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) guidelines in regards
to the latest studies done on a variety of medical conditions,
vaccinations, testing, and surgery. Our doctors have years of
experience in feline
medicine and work together on cases to effectively diagnose
and treat diseases. Your cat will get top notch doctor and technician
care that doesn’t stop when you leave the hospital. We
make lots of phone calls everyday to check up on the kitties
and to
make sure that they are feeling better, taking medications alright,
or
to answer any other questions you might not have thought of
when you were in to see us. We emphasize preventative healthcare
and
are very experienced in caring for our senior patients.
See The Cat Practice's general health recommendations to be sure your cat stays as healthy and happy as possible.
Cats are masters at hiding signs of illness. It's instinctually ingrained not to show weakness and become easy prey for other predators. Often, we don't see cats acting sick until they are very ill. Check out The Great Cat Watch For Wellness Sake for information on how to spot subtle signs of illness in your cat. Early detection of illness or disease leads to more effective treatment.
